These Payment Terms (“Terms”) govern the payment-related aspects of your use of the ServiceJan℠ platform, including the website, mobile application, and any services facilitated through the platform (collectively, the “Services”). By using ServiceJan, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Platform
ServiceJan℠ is a technology platform that connects customers with independent service providers, such as technicians, cleaners, furniture specialists, and other professionals. ServiceJan is not the service provider. We facilitate connections between users and providers but do not perform or oversee services.

2. Direct Payments to Providers
In some cases, payment for services booked through the ServiceJan app or website may be made directly to the service provider. ServiceJan does not collect or process these payments and is not responsible for verifying payment completion or transaction details between parties.

3. Responsibility Disclaimer
The contractual relationship for services rendered exists solely between the customer and the service provider. ServiceJan is not a party to that agreement. We do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any service performed, nor are we liable for refunds, disputes, or claims arising from the provider’s performance or lack thereof.

4. Facilitated Payments (If Applicable)
If any services are paid through ServiceJan’s built-in payment system (e.g., credit card, mobile payment gateway), those transactions are processed by third-party payment processors. You agree to their terms of service and acknowledge that ServiceJan is not responsible for their processing delays or issues.

5. Fees and Charges
Service providers may set their own pricing, which will be shown to customers prior to booking. In some cases, ServiceJan may apply platform usage fees, promotional credits, or convenience fees. These will be disclosed transparently before payment.

6. Refunds and Disputes
All refund requests, cancellations, or payment disputes must be handled directly with the service provider unless the payment was processed through ServiceJan’s platform. Even then, ServiceJan’s involvement is limited to providing technical assistance and will not include mediation or arbitration of claims.

7. Taxes
Service providers are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable taxes associated with the services they perform. ServiceJan does not assume responsibility for tax obligations on behalf of users or providers.

8. Updates to Payment Terms
We may modify these Payment Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
